SS19 Launch Party
On the evening of Thursday May 9th, La Reyna officially launched their S/S19 collection of ivory bodysuits fit for a queen. To celebrate, La Reyna kicked off the launch with a little evening soirée at Haley Bogaert Face studio, run by brow expert, Haley Bogaert, near Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto.
At the event, guests sipped on the signature La Reyna cocktail, crafted by Stoneleigh and McGuiness, received custom blowouts, and got the chance to preview La Reyna’s new ivory bodysuit collection in person. Of course, Queen B, and La Reyna’s founder, Kristina, was also in attendance to welcome guests and talk about the collection and inspo behind it.
The event was casual, yet fun and Haley Bogaert’s studio was decked with sweet treats from Dough T.O (literally the yummiest cookie dough you’ll ever taste), cookies, and flavoured spring alkaline water by Flow. It was basically like a dreamy slumber party, but more fashionable and elegant.
And lined up row on row, perfectly spaced and tagged, were the the bodysuits *swoon* including the Moss, the Taylor, and the Crawford, except this time in a fresh shade of ivory, suit for a summer goddess. Guests oohed and aahed over the suits and got the opportunity to shop, touch, and try them on.
The event was surely a night to remember and guests left the studio giddy, sporting blowouts to the 9’s, ready to celebrate the weekend ahead. Especially pleased, was the lucky giveaway winner who left with a special prize winning gift bag filled with Canadian skin care goodies from Indeed Labs. However, no guest left empty handed! Each queen received her own goodie bag thanks to Barre Bell, McGuiness and Make Lemonade, which included complimentary barre class passes, cocktail mixtures, and coworking space access.
Following the event, La Reyna launched the collection online for everyone to shop. However, customers can try on and purchase the bodysuits in person at the La Reyna pop-up shop hosted by Grayes at Commerce Court West on Bay Street (Toronto) until May 31st.
